SIA “Ditra Networks” (hereinafter – Ditra Networks) hereby informs you about the actions it performs, or may perform, with your personal data as a data controller when carrying out installation, operation, repair, renovation, and reconstruction works of electricity supply facilities on behalf of electricity transmission and/or distribution system operators. Ditra Networks may act independently or subcontract part of the entrusted work to other parties, who in this case act as personal data processors.On behalf of electricity transmission and/or distribution system operators, Ditra Networks is responsible for the operation, renewal, and development of the electricity network, including the construction of new connections. PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING:

Implementation of electricity supply facility installation projects in order to fulfil the tasks of the distribution or transmission system operator, including the operation, renewal, and planned development of the distribution network and systems, as well as the development, maintenance, and supervision of electricity-related facilities.

 

LEGAL BASIS FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING:

Legitimate interest arising from the execution of tasks delegated to the controller by the electricity distribution or transmission system operator, in order to ensure communication with the rightful owner of the property affected by the project, and to properly fulfil the obligations set out in Section 19(1.1) of the Energy Law to agree with landowners on the conditions for installing new electricity supply facilities, or in Section 19(1.2) of the Energy Law and Section 35(2) of the Protection Zone Law to inform landowners about such conditions.

Personal data will be processed to the extent specified in these principles, and no longer than is reasonably necessary for the stated purpose (e.g., for the implementation and coordination of the project).

 

DATA DISCLOSURE:

If required by applicable legislation, data may be disclosed to electricity transmission and/or distribution system operators for the performance of their daily functions, including supervision. Data may also be provided to the local municipal construction board or another authority performing construction board functions, and may be uploaded to the Construction Information System.

 

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS:

Based on the lawful grounds for personal data processing, you have the right to request from the controller access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing, and to object to the processing by informing the controller in writing.You have the right to file a complaint with the controller and with the supervisory authority of the Republic of Latvia — the Data State Inspectorate — if you believe your personal data protection rights have been violated.
